On Saturday 19 September New Zealanders will elect those who they want to govern for the next three years. 7 weeks later - on Friday 6 November the members of the WMCNZ National Conference being held in Ōtautahi | Christchurch will elect the national leadership team that it believes God is calling to lead us in this next season.
And so nominations are now called for
Assistant National Superintendent - Church Development (for a 4-year term)
National Secretary (for a 4-year term)
Five (5) National Council Members (for a 2-year term).
Our processes and requirements for nomination that will help us discern who God is calling to serve the church as national officers and Council member.
Role Descriptions for the positions to be elected at National Conference 2020. These outline the nature and expectations of, and the giftings, skills etc. required for, each of these national resourcing roles.
The Communication Guidelines that are to be followed throughout the nomination, election and post-election phases.
Closing Date for Nominations
In accordance with the National Constitution
Assistant National Superintendent - Church Development AND
close at 12:00 noon on Sunday 6 September.
Nominations for National Council Member close at 12:00 noon on Saturday 3 October.
Nominations can be submitted using this nomination form by
Ordained Ministers (Pastors) of the WMCNZ
Licensed Ministers (Pastors) of the WMCNZ
Commissioned Ministers (Pastors) of the WMCNZ
Lay Pastors appointed by the National Superintendent to lead a WMCNZ church
Lay representatives and lay observers from each church to the National Conference
Currently serving National Council members
