SI Update

Welcome to the Wesleyan Methodist website. We are pleased to share with you some highlights of our work and witness as we follow God’s great mission for us. These are exciting days for our network of churches.

IGNITE youth camp kicked off 2010 with a bang as youth from all over New Zealand converged in Ngaruawahia.  Pastor Frank Ritchie (TearFund and Life FM's Green Room) brought some challenging messages.  US band Willet warmed up for Parachute as the camp band, bringing great passion to IGNITE worship.

Our National Conference was a highlight in 2009 featuring Dr Eddie Fox speaking on evangelism and Dr HC Wilson a guest from Global Partners for the first time.

We had a fantastic time with THE STREAM event at the end of July which celebrated the Wesleyan theological stream and was a blessing to the whole Body of Christ. Insights and learnings that come from a Wesleyan understanding of New Testament Christianity were shared. John Wesley once said a (Wesleyan) Methodist is one who has the love of God shed abroad in his/her heart by the Holy Spirit and who loves the Lord with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength. We seek to love and serve God in a holistic way of grace and truth here in Aotearoa/New Zealand.  Please join us.
